Vexus knockoff AVX series?????

also the y have a 21 foot model with a 250, but the seats do look cheap and if they dont have a seadek option then Im going with the Xpress

.125 hull and and the hp that should be on a boat that size.Vexus should have done to begin with.Vexus are nice looking boats .I have seen two around here now.That is the only two things I didn’t like about Vexus boats

After watching another walk through video on the 19 XB I have likes and dislikes vs the AVX 1880 I have on order:

Likes- Closed bottom helm.
It will take a 150 hp !
.125 Hull
3/4" threaded seat post pins


Dislikes- Low spare tire mount
Trailer hinge is farther forward than the hull taking more garage clearance
Only Yamaha
Cheap Seats
No driver's side console
If you put dual graphs on helm you will block gauges
No front console
Center rod locker only holds 8
Overall trim of trailer and boat

These are just my opinions and yes I am partial....my 40k says so!

Call your dealer to see if they are able to rig a different motor on there, Ive seen it done

I noticed the few dealers I could find were all Yamaha/Skeeter dealers and most of those are on the coast. Could be a good boat but without that little insignificant looking little crease along the bottom of each side, I guarantee it’s going to get you wet in choppy water. Vexus won’t unless of course the wind is so strong it blows it back into the boat. JMHO

Can speak for how they are made, but, the boat they had at the classic was the 20 foother, regular price $51,500 but was selling for $47,000.

Deck is smaller than 2080 though.

Also, the 21XB will come standard w/ a 250.

Overall I think it is a nice looking boat. If it doesn't do anything, it will force others to compete for your business.

I thought Avid were the folks that made Sprint boats???? If so some are right to question build quality. My father and brother both owned Sprints and both had issues taling on water due to top cap and hull not fitting properly.

Vexus doesn't currently have a 21' model to put a 250 on. The 20' models are rated the same at 200hp

The way the rest of the AVX line is they would rate the 21 footer for 225.

Wow. Even being a recent member of the REVOLUTION myself, how can you make that statement about Avid. Terms like "quite sure" and "nearly" really give the impression that you have not done your research. I admit I have only seen these on the internet but obviously Avid has joined the revolution too by ripping off Vexus.

Avid has made some up grades over Vexus..125 hull and hp rating .

I'll take a .125 hull any day. Not a whole lot of companies doing this yet.

Did you watch the video? There are some nice enhancements if you compare to what Vexus is currently building and it would be great if they incorporated these into their boats.

It sure looks built better than the Vexus, and thats not a knock on Vexus.
