    State shutdown

So I’m new to Wisconsin. I got out this weekend on the rock river for some walleyes and it was a blast. Do you guys think with the shutdown starting tomorrow that we will see the ramps shut down. I have been fortunate to be able to work from home and it’s causing me to go stir crazy. Hoping to still be able to get out on the lakes as time allows to get some fresh air.

Both Michigan and Illinois are allowing people to fish....but yet "non essential" travel is restricted......so do you get a ticket for pulling your boat to the launch?

I was hoping to pick up a "new to me" boat next week, and then sell my existing boat... with the dealer likely deemed "non-essential", I may have to put this on hold for a month! I have a trolling motor, new jack-plate, locators and charger sitting here waiting for the boat to show up... Grrrrr!!

Sounds like we can fish and stuff as long as we aren’t in groups. I also saw at least 2 dealers that are staying open during this time.

Marinas (and sales) are essential businesses they should be open. Bottom of page 6 of the order.

I’m fishing today. Hopefully the fish aren’t in quarantine.

Went out yesterday. Plenty of boats out. Water temp was 46 degrees. Caught some perch crappie panfish. Buddy missed a good smallie and largemouth.

No you dont get pulled over for going fishing, most circuits have cancelled tournaments but you can still fish most lakes, all of state owned ramps are closed but some still open here in illinois
