We just got an email that our EMS system has a 5 day supply left and all efforts to find more have been unsuccessful. Luckily our numbers have been very low the past 2 weeks.

Do you know if anyone out there would accept "open" packages?

Contact Medstar EMS in Ft. Worth. They are the system we operate in and can answer that better than I can.

I'm not sure that it would make sense to ship them, but I have a 10 pack of masks that bought when I was doing the drywall in my basement that I would gladly give to a medical agency if they would actually be able to use them

We just got issued one each and a paper bag to store it in with the direction to reuse it as many times as possible and to only use it if you only feel that it is necessary.

According to the New YORK Times, China produces 50% all all N95 masks in the world, and 95% of all N95 masks used in the US. The same province where the city of Wuhan is located, is where the plants that produce the mask are located....and had been shut down. This should be a very valuable lesson to 3M and many others about placing all your birds in one nest.

They just had 3M CEO on CNBC. I think he said they were ramping up production of masks to to some crazy number like 35 million per month.
