MSI Tranducer - how to test?

I recently bought a boat with helix 10 gen2s on. Been using Garmin for the last two years, so this is my first direct experience with the mega units. I’m having issues with the SI. The units weren’t installed the best, so I have basically redone everything including the placement of the transducer. The right side is not responding to settings the same as the left. I assume it is the transducer because that issue isn’t there when in simulator and when reading SI on the networked unit, the screen looks the same.
what are my options other than buying a new transducer?
Could it be a software bug? I believe I’m on ver. 1.840

    Thanks in advance

I don’t know how to rotate it, but it seems to be barely below the sponson.

Looks good enough to get left and right images. I would guess you have a weak transducer, some have experienced that also.
Since warranty does not apply to pre-owned units, going to take the purchase of a new one to find out if that is the issue.
What model is the other unit?

The other unit is a Helix 9DI G2N. The images between the two units are nearly identical. Left side and down seem to be what’s expected, but the right side just seems to have a weak return. I can adjust to make the right side look right and the left side is blown out.
