Need some advice on a crack in the fiberglass.

I have a 03 zx225 dual console. I have a crack in my fiberglass that runs from my cooler down to the area where the drain is. I think it's a pretty wide crack. When I'm on rough water my passenger can feel it flexing pretty bad at his feet. I just recently found the crack. Any advice on how I could fix it? I thought about tiger hair and getting some strips of stainless steel and strapping across the cracks with screws to hopefully prevent it spreading any farther! I'll take any advice! Thanks in advance!

I would say take it to a fiberglass shop and let them check it out. Maybe take them for a ride so they can feel the flexing. They should be able to diagnose the issue and tell you a good fix

I would wear my life jacket.

Seriously, where is the crack? In the hull, or in the deck?

It's on the deck. No visible crack on the hill from the bottom

You should also post this in bass boat restoration.
There are some guys that know their fiberglass stuff over there.
    Pics would help! Good Luck!
