DIY Wacky/Neko sleeves

I have bought the tool and the tubing cut up already from a tackle shop for about as much as you paid for all your items but the only difference is I only got about 10 pcs of tubing!!
I just ordered the rolls from Amazon and will have enough for generations to come lol. Awesome tip right here !!!!!

That tubing looks awfully t'ick to get a hook through.

It's thicker than the already cut ones you get in the tackle shop, but a hook can go through it. I put my hooks under the tubing, even for wacky rigs so that's never been an issue to me.

What size of tubing are y’all using for trick worms and senkos? Also, is the size OD or ID?

I’ve been using a few different types and diameters. What I have found with putting the hook through the tubing is that the tubing will tear often when a fish shakes it’s head bait goes flying. Heat shrink I don’t have this problem. Anyone else notice this as well. Neko rig where you slide under the tubing works very well

5/16" for 7" Senkos
1/4" for 5" & 6" Senkos and Daiwa SV Fats
3/16" for thinner worms

I caught 15 on one Senko wacky rigged this way today, lost the hook on a dock or who knows? I rig under the tubing not through it. Good investment for me.
