    NE Texas report / update

Long time no report. Been busy working. And now that we are asked self isolate ourselves, what a better way to do so than a trip out on the water.

The best thing I can say about the NE Texas lakes is that they are going to have plenty of water for this years spawn. We have had another early spring and late winter of continuous rains. Most water in the upper ends of the local lakes are a bit cloudy. The lower ends of the lake are better. But the fishing is starting to turn. The buck bass are moving up right now. We had a day of 25 fish each on a local lake, and Fork is about to get reel good.

We have been catching bass up to about 5 lbs on chatter baits in the dirty water, frogs work there as well. Weightless Fluke style baits are very good in semi-clear to clear water. We have found a few beds in the last trip.

Here is a short video of some of the catches on a local lake.....

It was a fun day despite the continuous rain.

    Better Luck Next Time !!!!!
