    Do you listen to music while fishing?

    Just wondering if others like to listen to music when bass fishing? I usually fish alone and music has always provided stress relief and pleasure. I really enjoy fishing with music....sometimes wondered if it scares the fish but seems not to make a difference. Oh, my boat stereo (record player) doesn't play Country or Western music.....ever. So, do you listen to music and what is it you like to hear? I like blues like SRV, blues based rock and roll and classic rock, just gotta have that electric guitar.

    No I keep my mind on fishing, I may listen to real music (country) while I drive but not fishing,

    In a tournament I play music about half the time, just depends on my mood. Fun fishing I play it most of the time. Mostly use amazon music and SiriusXM. My playlist includes pretty much everything. Metal, pop, country, rap, soul, punk, etc... Variety is the spice of life!

    No. If I want to listen to something, I'll go fishin' with a buddy and bullshit when the mood or topic strikes us. If I'm goin' out by myself its 'cause I want quiet time and enjoy the fishin'.

    No, but i'm thinking I might like it now. Over the last 10 yrs and a lot of enduring personal life BS, time in the boat at times has become the time when I let all that BS in and distract me. Music may strike a happy medium I think between fishing and the distractions.

    Yes and no. There times when I just want to hear the sounds around me (and the bells and whistling in my ears...tinnitus) and other times when I want to listen to music. Really just depends on the day.

    Will only turn on the music or noise as allot of people call it when folks get to close. They tend to not stick around very long as my music of choice is a little on the hard side. O K allot on the hard side

    Yes and no for me. When I’m on the boat as a boat captain for my HS team, I’m 100% focused on the guys and what’s going on tournament wise. When I’m fun fishing by myself, head phones are in and I’m listening to 90’s country or popular Christian/religious music (Lauren Daigle, Elevation Worship, Hillsong United, etc.). Have to admit, will even play some Mozart, Beethoven, and Hayden...being a MS band director I need that stuff when I need a reminder of true music’s beauty. When fun fishing with my dad, I bring my Bluetooth speaker and we listen to the oldies or redneck comedy like Larry the Cable Guy, Foxworthy, Bill Engvall, but not Ron White...too crass for my taste.
