Wow, if that thing runs 85 loaded with a stock 250 and the hull weighs 2000 pounds, that's really impressive.

Murph you should speak to white gambler, he's owned several of the G's and Sterling. He's now in an ally.

One of the guys that works for our company has a 2000 year model Gambler 2100 with a 250XB Mercury. That is the fastest and best ridding boat I have ever been in.

I’ve always said that a Gambler/Sterling boat was the baddest looking boat on the water. I’m in my 3rd Bassport Pro and love the ride and handling. Never have ridden in or driven a Gambler/Sterling. I’d love too one day. I’m in Decatur on Wheeler Lake. You are welcome to come here and test/compare anytime. Lot of XB21’s around these parts and guys who know how to drive them.

Thanks John. Looks like I have road trip in my future. I would love to be able to see you and Tim, who's in KY, in the same trip if possible. I'll start reaching out again to make plans as soon as this coronavirus thing starts to simmer down a little more.

Maxwell has an excellent test facility on Wheeler Lake. If you dont mind to be blind folded we might have a smallmouth or two located in the area as well.

I remember going to Orlando to have a meeting with Bob and Nils Ackerbloom where I was introduced to Scott Ashemore who was their Rep at the time. I had 8 Gamblers from the GT183 up to the 2200. I also had a new Shearwater for the salt. I’ve moved on to Phoenix since. I have fond memories of all things Gambler tho! I used to really push them and sold many for Bob. It’ll be interesting to see how far the new owners take this

So what made you move to Phoenix? What would I need to do to get you back in a G?
