    Vynil paint help

I'm used to powder coat, so I need some advice. I know I need to mix it with some thinner, but I'm not sure how much. In a perfect world I'd like to mix it with thinner and leave it in the jar for future use. Is that a possibility or do I have to mix and use everything I mix right away? Also what's the mixture usually? I'm not spraying it on just brushing it on and so far I've found that its thick and hard to make look really good and seems to start drying pretty quickly.

I have not tried that! I'll give it a shot. Does the thinner also make the color lighter?

It wont make the "Color" lighter, But will leave less paint on the bait. This can cause the color to look different and may need a second coat. If you thin, Don't thin much.

I'm so glad I don't have to use vinyl anymore but I did up until 2003. Anyway, I would thin the paint to get it about the consistency of milk. I thinned it right in the bottle and every head was coated with white first as a primer.

No way... I bought vinyl paint for 25 years by the gallon. I have used a ton of this and it would never cover the white base coat if thinned like milk if you are brushing or dipping. Especially the florescent colors. I'd never airbrush with this kind of paint.
