Thinking of trying a texalium Tennessee handle for a panfish spinning rod. Want to use it for beetle spins and bobbers. Have zero experience with it. Worth the effort? Money? Better off sticking with cork?

I like the ones i've built. I prefer the graphite tubes over the texallium. Here are a few pics of some out of graphite and one with fiberglass tubing.
