Thumbs Up First (successful) open water trip of the season!

Crazy how mild and dry our winter has been. End result is a crazy early ice out for our area, got out on open water in southern New Hampshire on March 8th and found a few with my son and my friend. Suspending jerkbait and lipless crankbait. Excuse the initial over-eager enthusiasm, even a short winter is a long winter for someone like me.

always good to get out, even better when you catch'em
Putting a clown in the castle doesn't make him a king, it turns the castle into a circus
