    Slung blade Fury 4

First time out with the prop and as I was coming off plane I felt a bad vibration. I lost a blade. I don't believe I hit anything. Is this what it looks like when it slings a blade? Ive never had it happen before. How is the warranty process? Anything I did wrong to have caused this?

I hope your dealer warranties the prop... This is common, w/o hitting anything.

Is it the fury in general or just the 4 blade version?

I think that when you make blades thinner, They fail more often, Even with "Special metal" AKA Alloy 7

I have not read anything about 3 blades breaking. The Fury 4 will sling a blade when running to high on prop to pad height. I have read about 3 new Fury 4 failures on the same boat. They are not made to run high like Bravo1XS I have been told.

The Fury 4's will sling a blade even when they are run well below the surface - I run at least 3" below pad on my ranger and slung one.

You might want to try a Rev4 with added PVS holes.
