Brand New Boat and Trailer for $122

I bought a brand new Ranger last year which I don't want to use on some very small bodies of water and small shallow rivers. So I bought a new 14' flat bottom at Cabela's. After using all of my gift cards, it cost me $39 out of pocket. I went to Fleet Farm Sunday night after hours for the friends/family sale to buy a trailer for the boat. After the 15% off and using all of my gift cards, the trailer cost me $83 out of pocket. My total out of pocket cost for brand new 14' flat bottom and trailer = $122.

Not a bad deal! There are so many small lakes around WI that a 14' boat will be perfect for.

Sweet......I guarantee I’ve caught way more fish out of a Jon boat than all of my full size boats combined

Pretty cheap fishing, well until you add $5000 in electronics. Had a lot of fun in boats like that when we were younger. Enjoy

I bet a $400 cooler that takes up 3/4 of the back deck of a BPT™ boat would fit perfect

I save them over time. I get them from wife, parents and kids for Christmas, birthday and Father's Day. Wife and parents are usually good for a higher dollar one, especially at Christmas. I've been doing this for years. I got many guns this way too.

How do you feel about your out of pocket money on that brand new Ranger.
Was it about the same bargain?

Probably need two power poles, right? Just one would be ridiculous.
