    Most ramps at our reservoirs are run by our DNR. Those ramps are still open at least now. At least thats what I saw in a DNR message.

    You are correct that the DNR manages the boat ramps, but the Corps owns the lake and maybe the ramps (not sure). I think this needs a little further explanation.

    I just got the word. All the corp owned lakes will be closed. Just got the word from top guy.

    The corps has updated their news release and taken off the reference to boat ramps. Their facebook page says most boat ramps will remain open. For now anyway.

    Explanation they just posted is that the COE controls the dam and tailwater areas only.

    DNR or whomever, about a couple of weeks ago, locked the gate to the tail waters of Monroe due to 15000.00 damage and closed the parking lot permantly. If you wanted to fish the tail waters you would have to walk from the county road below the dam.
