Normally when they close a ramp it is due to low or high water. Did not see anything on the list.

As of now all Corps ramps are open except for Buffalo. Buffalo is closed for dock repair we did not finish it today. If all goes ok should reopen tomorrow later in the day.

If I had plans for anytime soon I would be calling due to info received this afternoon. It was not good for campers and some boat ramps will probably be closed also. (434) 738-6143

Not sure if Buffalo was opened by the Park Rangers this afternoon but repair and sections were installed to extend length back to normal. All work was completed.

On water all day checking buoys, from Palmers Pt. to Ivy Hill into Mill Creek. Water still stained a little in dam area and mid 50's in Eastland.

Water temp was 58-65. Clarity was average and fishing was great!

Yes water was 62 at start in Butchers and some maim lake pockets. Wind flipped out of N and dropped to 59 in some places. Fishing was okay. Caught a bunch of short fish. Keepers were average.

We fished the lower 1/3 of the lake. Water temp was anywhere fro 57-63. Caught about 17 with the biggest being about 3.5lbs. Everything on a spinnerbait. I wish the water was higher, that was my first trip and pretty much everything looked the same, clay and rock. I can see the lake being really fun if the water was in the 304-305 range. Might have to go back in May. Thanks for the help.

Any boat ramp with a day use area where people may congregate will be closed, buffalo and grassy creek are the two that I know of that are closed, everything else still open for now...
