Dobyns champion 734c is a great do it all rod.

or if you like something more parabolic , the champion 705cb glass is a great stick. Very versatile as well

yeah like white gambler said the 734 is a great one at multiple techniques. if you want a shorter rod the st croix legend tournament sweeper spinnerbait rod is a great one as well for both spinner baits and chatterbaits.

yeah how much do you want to spend??

I'm a big fan of the Valkyrie rods from Megabass for moving baits

6'11" MH makes a great spinnerbait rod

7'1" MH is also great, more moderate i throw chatterbaits on it

Gonna be hard to find a rod that covers a wide weight range for both spinnerbaits and chatterbaits... look for a heavy or medium heavy with fast action. That would probably be the most versatile. In that price range, most blanks are not super fast, so you can probably find something deccent at Academy or BPS. There are lots of close to $100 rods on TW. Pick one with the features you like

7' Medium Heavy Power, Fast Action. A cheaper rod isn't necessarily bad in this case, lower modulus blank will be slightly softer, perfect for slinging blades..

Falcon Bucoo or their HD in the 7' MH, Mod Fast would be a great rod.

St. Croix Legend Tournament Sweeper Spinnerbait rod
7’-0” MH Moderate Fast action rod
I have one spooled with 16# or 20# Sniper FC for chatterbaits, swim jigs, and large spinnerbaits. One rigged with 20# or 25# Sunline Super Natural mono for buzzbaits, Whopper Ploppers, large topwaters, and some spinnerbaits

Dobyns Sierra 733c...it is a GREAT all around rod. I use it for topwater, spinnerbaits, lipless and chatterbaits (unless I get a dedicated rod).

Under $100? I fished spinnerbaits and chatterbaits on a Shimano SLX C70MH Sunday. Baits were 1/2 oz, loved how it handled - casting and bass to 2.5# - I think I'll stick with it for the season. Had a Pfluegar Supreme (terrible drag) on it with 30# braid and 15# fluoro leader.

Doesn't make sense to suggest rods way above the OP's $100 budget. There are plenty of rods at $100 or less. I like my HMGs. If you want a Heavy, TW has the Okuma Helios mini guide for $99.97...a $180 rod. Daiwa Aird X and Lew's TP-1 get great reviews. Shimano offers several rods at $100 or less as does Daiwa and Abu. TW has the Ark Lancer and Lancer Pro. No experience with them, but like the Ark Sniper I have.

Here is an off the wall suggestion. https://jimbobait.com/collections/hu...pc-casting-rod

I picked up one a few years ago with the same weight rating...except it had ML on the rod instead of Medium. These are listed as saltwater rods, so maybe fishing for bass with one isn't a great idea. Got it for $75 (listed for $100 at that time). I keep it if Florida for visits. I really like the rod. The Redbone was suggested by a member on another forum that lived in Florida and fished almost every day of the year. The store where I bought it had 2 of them. I went back to buy the second, but it was already gone.
