    Trailer problem

My fuse was blowing sometimes when
I put it in reverse. I put a new actuator in
cause the old one was bad. I had this problem
before and after the new actuator. I believe
    it’s worse now.
So come to find out I have no short
from the front to the back on my reverse lights.
    There is a short when
I ohm out the white and blue wire
going to the actuator. Is this correct?
    is my actuator bad?

    Doubt it...

What kind of back up lights are on the trailer? LED or different?

There is a chance that between the extra resistance in the wire length, and amp draw on your bulbs that could be blowing the fuse. You could pull the bulbs out and see if it still blows. Then you might consider replacing bulbs with
    cross referenced
    LED's.

I still have a feeling the blue wire is touching the trailer frame somewhere.

You can still have continuity to ground as the potential has to go through the coil he didn’t say what his reading was.
