294 XLE with a Fury prop to pad

I just put a Fury 26P 3 blade on my 2010 294 which has a Mercury 200 Pro XS on it. For anybody running a Fury what is your prop to pad height? I know every boat is different but I am looking for a starting point. I was running a Tempest 26P. Thanks in advance.

Fury like to run a little deeper.
Might end up a little lower than the tempest.

Agreed. I think 3.5" below pad is a good starting point and move up 1/4" at a time from there, if needed. I have the same setup and I am at 3" below pad. In good conditions i can see 73-74 at 5700 rpm's.

In the summertime the 26 Fury may be a little too much for my set up, but overall i really like the fury. A tuned 26 Tempest is great on the 294 w/ Merc, but they usually need to be worked on. They are know to be "off" out of the box.

So I am just under 3 inches prop to pad right now. Just took it out and even th though I couldn't open it up due to the lake I was on had a speed limit, I did notice that I got on pad quickly. Plus when I had the worked 26 Tempest on there it had a slight blow out when breaking over on pad, however the Fury didnt do that at all. I even punched it from dead stop and it just came up and over with no hesitation.

Outstanding. Good to hear. Hopefully top end performance is there also.
