    Xb 2003 Storage Lid Mounting

Good evening everyone. I have a question, and I’m in the process of “revamping” the interior of my xb2003 and have removed all of the storage lids on the boat as I’m cleaning everything off to have a non-skid sprayed into the boat instead of carpet. My question is would everyone recommend going back with rivets or has anyone gone back with some small stainless steel hardware? Just debating on which to go back with.

When re carpeting my 2003 and my Prosport they had SS with nyloks on the ends and rivets in the rest..
I went back with SS and nyloks all the way on both rigs. one thing about it they won't ever come loose and can be snugged up if needed and much easier to remove the next time.
Would love to see pics when done.

Do you remember by chance what length bolt you used? And I will I’ve been slowly getting the boat the way I want it and this is one of the final pieces.

    Should be #10 by 3/4"
I believe the only place you cant get to both sides was the livwell. Seems you could get to one on each end and rivit the rest.
