The vexus 2080 is 20’10” if i recall. Thats basically 21’ with a 200 on it. Like all the rest of their models they are big and 50 hp short.

i think the 2080 is 20'2 and the 1980 is 19'10. i don't really see the point in the 1980. that's the 1 thing i think will be good for avid boats, their 19xb is 18'7 available with a 150.

    The 2080 is 20’2”.... but I’m sure it’s a heavy 2”.

I will say I thought the same thing from looking at the pictures my opinion changed when I saw in person. I think part of what makes it look narrow is the rod straps comes almost all the to the middle of the boat. From talking to the Excel rep he said they are going to change the rod strap layout and move them away from the center.

I don't think you will have a problem with two people standing at the front than I would on my RT188.

Did the Excel rep mention if/when they will be doing any other models... 18’ or 19’?

Youre right i stand corrected they are 20’2”. Yea the 1980 isnt much smaller i dont really see the point myself either. Looked at one in person at a boat show its a long boat for a 150. I wasnt the only one looking at it that thought that.

How's the new T 18 Trx. I've been following your post for awhile. You were running a Tracker for a time. I currently run a Tracker "Classic" and am getting used to it's shortcoming's compared to what I have have had previously. I will say It's a good boat for calmer water's and perf isn't bad at 36 mph. Stable solo and communication a must if partner is leaving his seat!!!!! HA!
Hope your enjoying your new ride!
