    Pedestal Seat Storage

I've always stored my butt seat in the starboard rod locker until moving into a 721 last year. The factory seat from Phoenix wont fit in the locker. Anybody have any modifications that would allow this or other ideas on storage? I usually just leave it in the garage/truck unless I'm fishing big water.

you can get an adapter for the seat hole to reduce it to 3/4" then use a standard seat pedestal with removable bicycle seat
a lot of gust just put it on the back deck until needed,
I have both options but mine has been in the shop hanging up sense I got the boat

That butt seat is pretty big....i ended up getting a smaller seat at Academy that did fit in the rod box. I very seldom use it but i have it if i need it......

Drew, wouldn't that bushing crack from the weight of someone leaning on the seat and post pushing on bushing? Maybe wrong but just don't see bushing lasting that long IF you use it m all the time...

Springfield makes a power pedestal that has a removable seat post at the top that fits the regular deck plates.
