    a decent finish

I played Cole Park on FT Campbell KY yesterday. Only 5 pars and no birdies. I was one down going into the 18th. I hit a decent tee shot but still had 184 yards to the pin. There was one big tree about 100 yards in front of me I had to direct shot at the pin. Lined up for the right side of the green with the thought of drawing the ball into the pin. It finally worked. The ball landed 12 feet below the pin. My hacking buddies were on the green laying 4. They all missed their par puts. I was able to two put for the all square of the day. No money lost, none gained. Life is good.

those are the kind of shots that make you keep going back. It wouldn't be fun if you could execute every time.

Working the ball on command gives one the brief illusion of mastery of the game!
It is even better with opponents watching!
