    Keitech Swimbait rod?

What’s the best rod for throwing 3.3”-3.8” Keitech Swimbaits on 3/16oz to 3/8oz heads? Looking for something 7’ to 7’6”?

If you get a well built one Kistler Helium3-- 7'3" light medium heavy power- fast action works very well.

Casting or spinning? There are a LOT of good rods out there for those baits from budget to enthusiast level pricing.

I throw mine on a 7' Medium Carbonlite fast tip and it works great.

Alpha Anlger makes the Clutch. 7'5" Medium power, fast action. Anything 1/4 oz or smaller I throw on a spinning rod though.

I throw mine on a MH Phenix Feather and think it handles it beautifully. Tip allows the fish to get it, sensitive enough to be able to fish it well and tell if it's fouled, action is fast enough to be able to successfully get it through grass.

That said, I agree with others...tons of good sticks for those baits out there!

ALX Zolo McSmalls. Got into the hybrids yesterday on 3.3 Keitechs on a 1/4 oz head. Fish ranged from 2 lbs. all the way up to one at 11. Had a ball, the McSmalls is a great rod to fish. I also use it for Ned stuff, with braid I can toss a 1/8 oz Ned about as far as I want.

I second both recommendations, especially the Cody Meyer Search rod if looking for a casting rod.

Any 7ft, or a little longer, medium power/fast action spinning rod.
I like the Dobyns Kaden 712SF
