I've been fish'n between Mascoutin and DeWitt ever since the first of the year simply because water temps were in the 30's in the rest of the lake. I finally caught some decent fish from the West side of the lake today. Temps were 47 at powerlines, 49 at dam, 51 at Houseboat Cove.Screenshot_20200308-181130_Messages.jpg

Nice fish. I was out there Sunday and had another tough day. 3rd time to the lake this year. We fished main lake points mid lake and I was seeing 46 degree water temp. The wind made it tough just about everywhere.

Yep...It was definitely windy, but that is just something I've come to expect in the early Spring. Most of the better fish that I've caught lately have come from deep brush adjacent to channel bends.
