I am just trying to decide if I will be happy going from a z9 to a z19. I know I will love the upgrade to the ultrex for sure. The z19 seems like a good sized boat. And I really dont fish any big water much at all. Just trying to get some pros and cons and make my decision soon.
It won't ride as good as the Z9 but not too much difference. The storage layout on the Z9 is better in my opinion and will take a little getting used to.

I would agree. The box sizes and locations are kind of strange. The Center box should be 2 like the z21.
The tilting box built into the foot area of the angler, is useless.

I have a 2019 Z19 I bought in Nov. I think it is a great boat overall.

Bought a '19 Z19 last April. Love it. I primarily fish fairly 'calm' waters and the Z19 is great. That said, I've had it on Mille Lacs, Grand Lake, and LOZ in some seriously rough water and never had an issue. I couldn't justify the extra $$ just to get a little more storage.
I came from a bigger 20fter, zx225 Skeeter and went to the z19. The ride is similar if not the same. It actually fishes bigger due to the bigger front deck and being single console. I will buy another in prolly 2-3 years.
The Z19 is probably the best buy in the industry in the 19 foot class.
