    First Eagle

    I had quit playing golf about 10 years ago when I got into fishing and decided to give it a try again. Been going to the driving range and my swing is starting to come back. Played Ruggles Ferry last Sunday after church and was driving and hitting irons fairly well but short game is killing me. I missed the green to the right on a par 5 on my second shot. This left me a blind shot over a sand bunker and mound, I Preceded to to hole out my 30 yard pitch with my lob wedge. I didn't see it go in but my wife was in the car and she started saying "it went in, it went in!" Not my first eagle, but first one since I started playing again.

    I'm really getting excited about getting out again next week

    Great. All Eagles are good. While playing Saturday I heard a comotion and looked over and saw two bald eagles with one hovering over two Canada geese one of which was flopping around on the water trying to get away. Eagles flapped away right in front of us. Beautiful!
