What color and crankbait do you guys throw in cold (50 - 58 degrees) muddy water? Also, what size (1.0,1.5.2.0, etc.)? Do you use baits with rattles?

I usually will not throw cranks in muddy water especially if it's cold but here in Ohio 58 is a good temp actually, but if I was it would be chartreuse color with rattles in a 1.5 or 2.0
I personally don’t consider that cold water, below 50 is cold’ish. Those temps here are go time for reaction baits. Muddy water though I do like bigger profiles, bright colors with rattles.

We were catching them on a blk/pink 1.5 type squarebill the other day. Water temp was 41-42 with 6" of viz.
Around rocks go with something red. I would use nothing faster than a 7:1 reel and then reel it at half your normal speed you do in the summer time.
A Strike King "Red eye shad" are great lures to use. The old reliable Bill Lewis Rat-L-Trap are good. Anything lip less with rattles are a good starting point.
If you decide to go with a lipped style crankbait, I use the a multitude of Strike king, Spro, Bagley, Bomber lures that are shallow divers, plus many, many more to use that are good.
We have already past the somewhat colder temperatures for our waters here, I fished in low 60's this past weekend. The water was warmer than the air temp.
I haven't in awhile, but those Storm Arashi's have a wide, thumping wobble. I would throw those in muddy water, or, maybe not. Cold, muddy water might not be crankbait friendly. I might reach for a jig.

In that temp and muddy, refers to spring temps. Red or firetiger in a crank. I’ll be putting on a rattle trap or spinnerbait/chatterbait normally.
