• Increased target sensitivity in the water column on DownScan
• Some users reported their DownScan not reacquiring the bottom after running on plane, we have improved DownScan bottom lock search to remedy this
• HDS users with HDI transducers connected to Channel 1 have reported no DownScan data showing on screen, this has been corrected
• Added the ability to stop the traditional sonar but continue to ping the DownScan and SideScan from a single transducer
• Some deleted routes were leaving segments on the chart after being deleted, this has been remedied
• Some HDS Live displays were not automatically enabling LiveSight features when powered up with a transducer connected, this has been resolved

Soooo...I have HDS LIVE units,nmea 2000, point 1. I need to update each of the units separately? As well as power up the ghost t motor before updating anything?

Then do a hard reset? What does the hard reset do to help after the update?

Would i also need to do the setup again for the point 1?

Saved waypoints etc..

This sounds like good news for the issues people were having with hdi on carbons! I will give it a try soon. I am particularly glad to see the increased sensitivity on down scan.

Something is not right for sure. Carbon or Live, right?
If you put the update on a card then put that card in and turn on the unit it should not "say" anything only start the update process. Sounds like the card isn't being recognized or else it would roll right along and update.

When I inserted the card with the v20 update into my Live, nothing came up on screen for me as well. Need to go on to the homepage, choose "storage" and then pick the card slot where you inserted the update. Then a menu bar should come up with an "upgrade" choice, which should install the software. If you have a Ghost, turn it on before you run update ( no need to deploy the motor) Hope this helps.

The unit needs to be off, insert the card, turn unit on. It should work then. I also turned on the Ghost after turning on the unit.
