Question How does this engine data look? 2019 SHO 250

So I’m curious from a used motor perspective how this looks to you guys as I don’t know much about what’s good and bad for RPMs and Hours. Thanks in advance.

    201 hours total
    <1000 rpm - 101 hours
    1000-2000 -10.1
    2000-3000 - 10.8
    3000-4000 - 18.3
    4000-5000 - 14.2
    5000-6000 - 46.5
    6000+. - 0.0

    over rev count - 3 times 107.5
    Overheat Count - 10 times 53.8

Over rev count and overheat counts not good. You may warranty claim issues if you went in for a warranty repair.

Ah ok. So it might deny a claim is what I think you meant?

fortunately all that happened with the previous owner. I had the warranty transferred yesterday.

What hull is this on? 200 hours is quite high for a 2019 motor.
Half the time is at idle and 25% at full throttle, quite the range.
With the overheat count, does it have a hydraulic jack plate that gets raised too high, or has it been towing another boat around?
We assume you already own it, so it is what it is, but those 2 things would bother me as well.

Looks fine....looks like a motor that gets used and does not sit in a garage too long.

i bought it off a childhood friend who happens to be an Elite guy. It’s a 2019 FX20.

he put on 160 hours, I did the other 40.

yup...he did well last year. Here’s a hint....it said megabass. But yea he graphs ALOT! Based off the episodes, he definitely put it to work. But I am very appreciative of how well he took care of it.

I wouldn’t worry about the over heat alarms any time you suck up grad the alarm goes off and the engine shuts off
