    Carpet Cleaning

I was out there trying to clean my boat carpet today. I was using the Barbosol shaving cream method and it seemed like it was getting dirtier than when I started. It could have been that I was pulling up dirt out of the bottom of the fibers that I didn't see before. I called and got a quote to have someone come out and clean it professionally. Has anybody here ever gone that route? I just got this carpet installed about 3 years ago, so I really don't want to replace again right now. Thanks in advance for any tips or advice.

I use Dawn dish soap, a scrub brush, and a shop vac. works every time.

Vinegar and water mix and then rinse with a lot of water after scrubbing with a stiff brush and then wet vac and sun dry should look like new....

Mild laundry soap is what the manufacturers say to use, like woolite.
