    Tracker 195

Anybody running a 195 with the ProXS? I was near the end of my 2 hour break in and for the first time really stepped on it for my full throttle minute, trimmed and all. It was choppy but with me and the wife we hit 56 GPS but I was right on 6000 on my tach. I have a vessel view coming so I don't know how accurate that tach is but if it is has anyone stepped up to a 25P Tempest and if so how did it go?

Two hour break-in? I recall it being longer, but could be wrong.

2 hrs before you can go full throttle above 4500 rpms for short bursts. 10 hrs total breakin but the first 2 hours nothing over 4500 rpms.

RPM guages are notorious for being off by several hundred rpms. My fishing buddy has a new 195 and his guage said he was running a little better than 5500 rpms. We installed the Vessel View and his rpms were actually reading 5830 at WOT.

The 150 proxs says during the first two hours every ten minutes go to full throttle for 1 minute, merc tech said its in the book, and it is, but he didnt recommend it so during the first hour I kept it under 4500 and during I hope second hour I went wide open twice both under a minute, once no trim and right at the end full trim for the chop we were in. Now next 8 hours do not maintain any RPM for more than 5 minutes.

So installed the vessel view, definitely hit 6k today with just me in the boat, let out of it so not sure where we would have ended, but again quite choppy out today. Don't know why they call Chicago the windy city all the wind does is blow in Texas. Didnt have my tackle in the boat but next weekend is the first big fishing trip so I'll know for sure then.

I thought they called Chicago the Windy City because of the politicians from there.

Beto is probably the source for the wind.
