    Wow first I've heard of it. I (hope) don't see how that will or can pass, Lanier is way to busy.

    About 12 or 13 yrs ago, I was up on the north end near Clarks bridge above Gainesville when a single engine seaplane landed and later took off from the lake.

    I wonder if the seaplanes can handle big waves from the ski boats and yachts plowing through the water?

    Let them in its a public lake and should not be just boaters... Safety is up to pilot on conditions...

    It's actually a corp of engineer lake open to the public and in some cases for a fee. Regardless I don't know if amphibious planes are currently restricted of not. I certainly would not attempt it on a weekend or with a X wind in excess of 5 mph.

    I know its a corp. lake but my point is why restrict this. Next its gonna be speed then no night hrs... Why is this world scared of everything?
