    Xpress H18 150Sho Prop

I'm running an H18 with a 150Sho. Currently running a powertech 23 pitch, 3 3/4 prop to pad on a 6" jackplate. Alone I can hit about 59-60 at about 5900rpm, about 57-58mph with a passenger. I'm looking, to replace the PowerTech. What props would yall recommend to get more speed out of my current setup?

A Trophy 24" or maybe a Tempest 23" and raise engine to 2 3/4" PTP.

Tempest seems to be pretty popular from the research I've done. You think that PowerTech would run a little better at 2 3/4, or will the Tempest run higher without losing grip?

I believe the Tempest will give better grip and bow lift.

Try a fury 3&4 along with the tempest. One of those 3 will stand out above the rest. The fury 4 does for my boat

May need an inch less pitch with the Fury. They run stiff.

I am currently runnign the VMX3, which is Power Techs copy of the yamaha T1. The prop seems to have pretty good lift, but I just feel like Its lacking a little in top end performance. I just noticed that the Tempest has a 1/2" smaller Diameter than this powertech, so switching to the tempest should bring my RPMS up correct? I think Imma try the Tempest, every person I've talked to mentioned a Tempest prop being a good choice.

I have a X18 with a 10” Hijack with a 150 HPDI running 3” under pad. I have a 23 four blade fury worked by Mark with the extra holes. He cupped it so my front rides high at low rpms. At 6000 rpms I do gps 62 to 64 plus depending on load I have a lot of stuff in my boat if I lighten it up it will do the higher. With passenger more close to 60 but the front end rides high and it holds up in curves at mid range. I love the ride and holeshot too.

I'll have to look into the Fury as well. 62-64 solo is what I'm aiming for in the end.
