    Helix 9 mega issue

On side imaging, my orientation is reversed. I checked this by getting close to bride pilings on my starboard side of boat, but on my unit it shows the pilings like they are on the port side. I went to advanced settings to make sure my SI orientation was not set to reversed and it’s not. Any ideas?

Post a picture of your transducer installation.

My transducer is mounted backwards even though it looks correct. I’m going to switch my unit to reverse as the keep the transducer mounted the same way it is now

It does not look correct, I recognized it immediately.
The rounded end is the leading end for a normal application. You have the blunt end forward--that is not hydrodynamic.
Having it backwards above the hull bottom is OK since it doesn't have water contact at speed.
