    In my opinion no, in the sub 27 foot range you can really see fish like resemblance especially if you were to only view 30'. There is no resemblance to a bass here. Much to small to try an catch unless your fishing for 10"-12" fish.

    On our lake with lots of grass they hide in the grass and will pop up and go back down when the lure comes over then .Granted they are all 10-12-13 inch bass and fun to catch.The bigger bass you will see the body and tails moving as we do with big 15-17 inch crappie.

    Gills in my opinion. Bass can be mixed in tho.
