Blew what seal? Tilt or trim? I would talk to Charles at mare for his recommendation. But most times now they want you to buy an entire unit at $1500. I tried a hydraulic shop and wound up with a bunch of problems. If I had it to doit over I would send it to Florida.

Notice this morning oil sheen behind the boat. Can not tilt motor all the way under. Should be able to replace the o-ring?

Never heard of one that will not go all the way down. But no mercury mechanics will rebuild a cylinder from what I have experienced. If you need something quick I would recommend buying the oem seals necessary for both trim cylinders and have a local shop they to repair it. If you have time I would send it to Florida to be repaired with warranty.

Guess I should have been more specific. It’s not the main shaft cylinder but the cylinder with the 2 small shafts is leaking. Guess it’s just the seals
