Lake Erie Has Been Angry Lately!!!

50+mph winds and Lake Effect Snow the last couple days left a few houses along the lake looking a little icy:

Wow! That's impressive. Is the color of the ice due to sediment trapped in the windblown water?

Sandusky Bay water was 35 degrees - won't be long before we are dunking our boats at Mazuricks :-)

Sunday is 55 air temp, south wind, 2 footers or less.. the walleye guys will out for sure!

I admire you guys who live up in these areas. As a lifelong southerner, I cannot imagine what winter right along the shore of the great lakes would be like. I'd love the smallmouth fihsing but don't think I could do that kind of winter.

Thats usually a Champion guy......didn't spill a drop of his coffee either. His truck also towed the boat so well on the way to the lake he didn't even know it was back there. Has a 6' bed on it too so he can carry all his flannel shirts like a real man.....
