    Made the Florida trip

Well... went to visit my daughter in central florida for a week. We had our minds made up to move to the warm, sunny climate. We looked at houses and areas to move. I guess we are staying in the NEPA area. We are just going to sell and downsize for the 2 of us. Kids are grown and gone and besides, Florida does not have SMALLIES.

See yall at the get together for sure. http://www.bbcboards.net/showthread.php?t=1024759

YES... Crowded. I am not used to being on top of each other in housing. There was construction of roads everywhere. The weather was nice..BUT not my style of living.
Pa born and raised, so I guess I will just stay put in NE Pa.

just got back from Florida. Visited my brother in Eustis Florida. Right on Harris Chain Lakes. Nice set of Lakes. The FLW was fishing it while I was down there. Was surprised how few bassboats you actually "see" on these lakes. Lakes are sprawled out, and boats are too. I'm sure there were many out there, especially this time of year.

I was there also in Eustis. My daughter lives in Mt Dora. YES, nice lakes and all but I sure would miss my smallies and 1000 Islands/St Lawrence river fishing. Those NY finger lakes are GREAT, too.
I don't know if you were impressed with that area, but I really only like Travares off rt 19.
Like was said before: Nice place to visit....

Raised in the Houston Texas area moved to Pa in 98 after I got out of the army. I love Pa. Miss the big lakes of Texas and the salt water fishing, don’t miss the fast pace and the all the people.
