I have a 2018 with a pro Xs 150 21p tempest full loaded I get 61 gps out of mine without jack plate. I’ve never been without someone with me, so I don’t know alone.

My 2019 with 150 Pro XS running a 24p tempest will run 60 mph with 1/2 tank and just me. Put my wife or dad in the passenger seat and it’s 55-57 mph.

Are you guys going off the speedo or gps. Those numbers seem a little inflated.

I have a 2018 with Mercury 150 with 24P Tempest. I have gotten to 55 with my wife and half a tank of fuel and full load. I did install reverse wedges Ranger sent me and they helped quite a bit.

Just sold 2017 RT198p. With the Yamaha SHO it would run 62 with just me. Add a passenger and it would 55-58.

Best I got is 55. but my boat is loaded with jack plate, talons, and three trolling motor batteries. 24 Tempest Plus.
Got to decide, speed, comfort, price?
    Lots of options.
I will say I am much more willing to take my 198P places than where I would NOT take my Z518 CI. This past weekend it handled 20 mph winds across an open bay very well.
