I have a Tennessee Lifetime. Paid $1620 before they went up the last time. Bought all three of my daughters one before they turned 3yo. $200 each.

Why was yours $1620 and your daughter's $200? Doesn't make sense.

I bought a lifetime fishing/hunting when I was 22 because it would take 15 years for it to be paid off if the price of annual licenses never increased, which of course they did, so it was paid off in about 13 years, so I have fished for "free" since I turned 35 and I'm now 61. Also, I knew the price of the lifetime license would increase over time as well, and once you reach middle age, it would no longer save you any money over buying annual licenses the rest of your fishing days.

Think I paid 250ish for a lifetime NC freshwater maybe 10 years ago. I figured then it would pay off in about 12 years, prices have increased since then.

As a sovereign citizen, I issued myself a lifetime fishing license a long time ago.

My Dad bought me and my brother lifetime NC fishing license as a Christmas gift one year. I was 30 and my brother had just turned 16. I'm 54 now. I believe the cost then was around $200-250 for mine.

I have had mine for 30 years. Got it for $300 (hunting and fishing). It has paid for itself many times over.

Bought my Oklahoma lifetime combination hunting/fishing license in 1974 when it cost $150. The deer and turkey tags over the years have saved me a lot of money. Current license price is $775

Iowa has a lifetime resident hunting/fishing license for disabled vets. I believe it's $11. Signed up for it last year
