    Mega 360 pics

Only had it out couple short times and am struggling to get good clear views. Very blurry and pixel looking thinking I have something wrong. thumbnail (1).jpegthumbnail (2).jpeg

Difficult to tell when you don't have much subject matter scanned.

Not much in first pic but why is the lake bottom not picking up until getting out to second ring at 22 feet? The second pic has pretty good size tree right in front of boat but was hard to even see until it got in water column under the boat. Sweep speed was at 3.

This is tree I was tied up to when comparing MEGA 360 and 360. Sweep speed was 3.

This is with the 360 beside it with Fine/Fast:

Is the frequency range default or did you change it?

Left that in default. What does the 360 dynamic contrast, increased detail and increased depth features do for you?

Nothing since I don't use those settings. It isn't broken so I don't need to fix it.

Because you are in water about 22ft deep and only looking out 45ft with range. Your black area (water column) will always be equal to your depth.... unless you change to contour mode and eliminate the water column from the image. If you increase your range, the water column will still reach out to whatever depth, but your image will include more area (lake bottom), but less detail the further out your select.

Yes .... The images look good .... As Akaslyguy indicated, the depth in those images is more suitable for the range you have selected. When you get into deeper water, try increasing range.
