    how often does Lowrance come out with new head unit?

    What is everyones best guess when Lowrance will replace the Livesight head units with the next generation? Next year? curious since they are offering a sizable rebate on new units......

    Based off the previous 10 years...they will most likely announce the new units sometime towards the end of this year and be available 2021. That is just my opinion based off what I have seen. I switched to Lowrance in 2012 and have been replacing my units every season. Looking forward to seeing what the next gen will be.

    HDS-series are replaced every two years. Todays Live was introduced October 2018, so as Randy said, we should see the new one around October this year.

    I honestly hope they come out with some technology that can compete with HB and Garmin. Lowrance has been pretty quiet on leaking anything new.
