How can we have a vented motor cover if our registration sticker is on the cowling like it’s supposed to be? Wouldn’t it be covered up. I’ve done this for over a year with no problems or tickets from lake patrol, but got to thinking about this lately. I’m thinking of fishing some jackpots or tournaments. Just want to be legal. Also like having my cowling look brand new.

I put mine just under the cover on the lower cowling section. No issues
Mine are covered by the motor cover and I’ve been inspected by the “authorities” several times. They’ve never said a word about it.

Goes on the cowling if they see the one on side of the boat they know your good to go.
