    2008 Triton 21X Setup help....

I have a 2008 Triton 21X with a 250 Pro Xs. I don't have the top end I should I am gonna try a 25p fury and was just wondering if anyone could tell me Prop to Pad measurement. Also what kind of RPM should I be turning when getting on plane? I am coming from a bullet where you went 1" below to above the pad until you lost water pressure orbit blew out. If someone could help me out I would really appreciate it. I am turning 5900 RPMs and have a horrible hole shot.

I’ve helped rig a few of the TR series but they might be different from yours. If you don’t get an answer here, post on the Triton page.

The hole shot might get a little better with the correct prop height but with a vented prop it's all in the plugs. Is it screaming or bogging down? Thinking hole shot rpms 3,200-3,500 or in that ball park. Setting up most bass boats I start at 3-1/2" p2p and come up 1/4" per run till I lose water pressure or speed.

With the Fury run with all holes open and 3" prop to pad you'll probably be able to raise it up 1/4" at a time but don't run the fury prop too high or it will throw a blade.. You didn't say but I figure you have a jack plate that has 8" or 10" of set back with 10" being the best on that hull. Your looking to hit 3500 to 3800 rpm's at take off which you should be able to get with that fury. Top speed with the 25 should be 75-76 loaded.
