2018 TRX 20 Patriot Performance Help

I have a 2018 Triton TRX 20 Patriot with a Mercury 250 Pro XS 2 stroke that turns a Fury 25P Prop. Top speed so far has been 65MPH and the max RPMs have been 5400. Have tried different hydraulic jack plate heights. Has a hot foot so I verified it is getting full throttle. What prop to pad are people running? What trim height? I've read that I should hit 5850 for RPM and 70+. What am I missing? Thanks

My 2015 likes to run a couple bumps down from full trim. It runs best around 2.5 to 2.75 prop to pad. I do normally run Tempest plus props, but I always broke 70 with the 25 fury that it came with. Something is not right with your set up, prop, motor, or boat.

2018 20TRX patriot Mercury 250 pro xs optimax dual console manual jackplate dual 8ft poles 1 person half tank fuel empty livewells with tournament load of gear in boat.
jackplate 3.5” below pad factory setting with 25 Fury 72mph @5600rpms
moved jackplate up to 2.5” below pad with 25 fury and got 75mph @5700rpms
tried 24 tempest with 2 large pvs plugs and 1 small holeshot was same as fury but got 73.7mph @5900rpm boat had better lift and almost no chinewalk handled way better. If dialed in correctly the 20trx will be a stable mf.
