    Tharp never ran a Mercury. He was running a Yamaha when he went with Evinrude and then switched back to Yamaha.

    I am by no means the worlds' most positive guy, but holy geez! The hating on this thread is unreal. Evinrude haters, pros being douche bags, having punchable faces, being happy that Zach blew his motor, etc. Wow!

    Well, I got excoriated for saying Evinrude would go 4 stroke or go away. They are no longer an FLW sponsor, and I saw no booth for them at the Classic next week, so I guess they went with option 2.
