This is super confusing to me, to be white honest - I cut the collar and it was a 10 second process. I have LiveScope, power cable AND TM Ducer Cable (GT54) all in the same channel.

Does this work on the 50 and 57?
Why didn’t Garmin consider this? I’ve seen another nice clean install where someone mounted it on the cable management channel and it looked nice
It does work on the new models for sure. I did it on a 50. Cut the ends run the wires add the new two part ends back. Works great. And yes garmin should document this.
I just got my new Force 50 Tuesday 8/11/20 and the LiveScope last month. The cable will go through mine with the connector cut off. The newer TM and LiveScope's should all play nicely together but Garmin is not going to tell all of us that it will work since there is so many older models out there and they dont mix very well.
