Point 1 & Motorguide Trolling Motor NMEA

Not sure if this has been asked before,

I have 3 HDS Carbon Units networked to eachother via Ethernet and NMEA.
I have a Point 1 at the back of the boat by the Transducer, networked through NMEA to all Units.
Love it so far. Will be adding the Motorguide Tour Pro, networking to all three units with NMEA.

    My question....

How does the POINT 1 at the back of the boat work with the Motorguide GPS trolling motors?
Do the Motorguide trolling motors have their own internal GPS signal? Do they come with their own GPS Puck?

I ask because I am curious if the Motorguide will use the POINT 1 for GPS Location and if so.... won't the trolling motor have a heck of a time keeping a puck on the back of the boat in one location vs keeping the front of the boat in one location?

So, for those with an Xi5.... do you just plug it into NMEA network and go? or do you have to configure the trolling motor not to look at the Point 1 and instead use it's own internal GPS?

Point-1 not working with MG, which have own compass, gps sensor.
To connect MG xi with mfd, You need n2k starter kit, Pinpoint Gateway kit and....luck or tm older than 2018yr. Latest Xi tm have problem in NMEA network, not anchoring on waypoint, lost route from mfd.

Xi5 uses its own sensors and is oblivious of Point-1 being on network.
