I have a Lews BB2 reel that I use for A Rigs. The button has got hard to press then there is a load on the reel. Say the rig hanging from the tip of the rod when I'm about to cast. I am pretty handy with reels, I have taken it apart and everything looks ok. Can anyone offer some advice to fix this?

a call to Lews Customer Service will take care of it...You will talk to a technician who will solve the issue for you. If you are handy they will send you the part(s) free to repair or they will replace... Been dealing with them w/o an issue for 10 years now.
